Nicholas II is booted out of Krakov, and a piano tuner fools the social climber. 12-25-1914
Franz Josef and Wilhelm, with cannons in Krakow, kick Nicholas II out of the frame. Caption:
"Fine boots, and they have feet in them too."
Well-to-do young ladies wanted doctors or lawyers for husbands back then, too. This piano tuner had the right clothes to be a suitable match.
December 25, 1914: America is a free country and a piano tuner may dress like a doctor.
- GB: This is a regular doctor. I should have a chat with him.
- GB: Just the match for Suzy. Say, Mister Doctor, excuse me.
- GB: She's right here. I tell you - come.
- GB: Pleased to meet you. This is Miss Suzy and this...
- "The Doctor": Well, where's the piano you want me to fix?
